The High Country Riders will be entertaining us on July 27, and you can find them most weekends in clubs from Austin to Bastrop and across the Hill Country. The Riders include well-known Wimberley singer Donna Bailey, songwriter-guitarist Fredy Argir, and bassist Steve Wood. They play a variety of music from classic country to folk to Americana, what they call “Music from Texas and Beyond.”

Stephen K Morris’ brand of Music and Songwriting grows from the strong roots of Texas Country, Talking Blues, with hints of Jazz. 

With strong smooth vocals and a dynamic guitar style, Stephen performs songs that combine wit, wisdom, and strong doses of humor to weave through scenes of life like the first kiss dare in “Kissing Booth Girl”, Gambling in ”The Hustler’s Fool”,  Drought in “Higher Water”, the thirst for a good drink in ”Riding on this Wagon”, and nostalgic memories of his hometown in “Foley Drive”. 

Stephen has been a mainstay in the Texas Hill Country for over a decade and started performing around the Texas music scene in the early 2000's.

His music has taken him to many states including Alaska and as far away as Norway, Europe and Costa Rica.  You can find him performing solo, with a small band, and on numerous occasions at Songwriter gatherings.

During a performance you may hear hints of his strongest musical and lyrical influences like Tom Waits, Guy Clark, Rodney Crowell, James McMurtry, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Cash. 

Anthony Garcia is a songwriter, guitarist and classically trained pianist based in Austin, Texas. His musical style has most accurately been described as "cinematic Americana," a genre that interweaves songwriting with expanding, quasiorchestral sections.  Versatile is the best word to describe his performance; Garcia often switches between genres within a set, and sometimes switches between instruments within a single song. A lover of rock, blues, classical piano and Spanish guitar, and a fan of soulful vocals and old standards, Garcia's musicianship and eclectic song choices always keep the audience enraptured and inspired.

Evan is recognized in the Pacific Northwest as a virtuoso musician and composer. Cornish College of the Arts graduate; Evan currently performs and composes with Seattle's top local musicians touring major cities internationally and performs solo guitar music for most any mood or genre.

Performer/Instructor: Mindy plays guitar and piano, sings and is a songwriter and instrumentalist in the Texas Hill Country. She moved here from central Illinois in 2015, and has played many venues and events in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. She also has a large clientele of guitar, piano, bass and ukulele students, and enjoys arranging performances for them at local establishments, retirement homes and Farmers’ Markets. Mindy performs a wide variety of music – including folk, rock, pop, country and blues. Some of her greatest influences are Emmylou Harris, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Hank Williams and Sheryl Crow. She plays as a soloist or in a duo/trio, this time she will be joined by Courtney ward on guitar and who also sings some beautiful harmonies.

Kathy And Gary will be hosting another river cruise this time from Nurenberg to Luxembourg.  The last one was so much fun we're doing it again.
