Syrah Estate 06

100% Syrah grown here at the vineyard i Johnson City, the vines that produced the grapes were 7 years old. We had a late freeze affecting that part of the vineyard and growing conditions were so good that we had a great vine growth, but very little fruit production. This created very little fruit production and small production means superior quality. Aromas of dark berries dominate and carry through out the taste. Faint taste of black pepper comes from being grown in hot weather and the spicy finish from the American Oak.
