Tempernillo Vertical Tasting

What is a “vertical tasting” you might ask?

A vertical tasting is when you sample the same wine (grape) over a series of vintages (years).

You will taste 3 or 4 different vintages of the same grape, grown and produced at the same vineyard. Generally, the wines are made the same, with the variable being the climate conditions of each year. The tasting will show how the temperature and rainfall amounts affect the flavor of the wine for each year.

Texas Hills Vineyard will be hosting its 2nd Vertical Tasting with our award winning Toro de TEJAS.  You will be tasting 5 vintages (years) of Toro de TEJAS Newsome Vineyard (NV) – 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 AND 3 vintages of Toro de TEJAS Reddy Vineyard (RV) – 2009, 2010, and 2011.

This event filled up very quickly when we held it in May so make your reservation early!

We will charge your cc for this event on September 17, 2018.  Due to the popularity of this event, there will be NO Refunds for cancellations after September 17, 2018.

Please note:  This event will be held on the patio.  Seating will be limited to tables of 4 (no exceptions).  If you have a group larger than 4, let us know and we will seat you at tables adjacent to each other.
