Spicy
Garlic & Lemon Crusted Shrimp
1 lb Large Shrimp (tail
& 1st segment intact)
8 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 med. Shallots (minced)
2 Tbs
Fresh ground Black Pepper
1 Tbs
Kosher Salt
1 Lemon (zest &
juice reserved)
8 fresh Thyme springs
2 Tbs
Worcestershire Sauce
2 Tbs
Hot Sauce
1/2 bottle DARK BEER
4 Tbs
unsalted Butter
Combine shrimp, garlic,
shallots, black pepper, salt, lemon zest & juice, thyme, Worcestershire,
hot sauce, & beer in large bowl.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Heat 12" pan over
moderate high heat - add 2 Tbs butter & shrimp
& marinade all at once, stir continually.
Cook 4 minutes till shrimp is pink & garlic golden. Remove shrimp and stir in remaining butter
and cook till until sauce thickens.
Spoon over shrimp & serve with Texas Hills Vineyard’s Due Bianco.
